I wrote “Stanley James” the reviews have been good, one critic called it a cross between “Huckleberry Finn” and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” In writing the story I drew heavily on my experiences as a learning disabled student at St. Mary’s Catholic school in Alexandria, Minnesota during the 1950’s. I’m told that it is a “witty and stinging novel told from a slightly skewed perspective”.
