Hi Poets/Authors,
I recently published my second book of poems/quotes, entitled "Refreshments for the Heart." My second book has poems about President Barack Obama, The Virginia Tech Shooting, The Huntsville School Bus Tragedy, plus a variety of other poems. Two poems from "Refreshments for the Heart" are published amongst other well-known authors, poets, & writers. The anthology that my two poems are published is called Hope Whispers Inspirational AnthoIogy. I perform spoken word at different church events, as well as other events. Hi I am a New authour of The ABC's of Brain Education. I have written 4 books but never took the time to get them published. Since my stroke last year I have decided that I need to put my mind on paper. I begain writing again about 8 months ago. I now have 2 published books and working on getting my 3rd one published. It is very hard with promotions. Some people say you need a publicist, but because of my stroke it has prohibited me in really venturing out, along with finances. I am a self-published author of a poetry book, Semmaster's Thoughts (Life of A Little Man). I am 54 yrs. old and have been writing since the age of fourteen.
